Stacked show photos of pretty silhouettes are nice, but a Doberman is a three dimensional living creature. It's not enough to stand around looking pretty. A Doberman is first and foremost a guard dog. A correctly built Doberman is a strong, elegant, compact, muscular dog with heavy bone and good substance -and- he must be able to move... he must have a strong loin to coil and flex, he must push off the ground with power and carry himself with a firm level topline... and he must love to please.
